About Us
Evergreen Orthopedic Research Lab (EORL) was founded in 2006 through the collaboration of many designing orthopedic surgeons. EORL strives to educate orthopedic surgeons in order to improve surgical techniques and patient outcomes by developing orthopedic instruments that allow the utilization of advanced techniques. In the last decade we have witnessed great advances in minimally invasive surgical hip and knee replacement techniques. Computer navigation, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and more sophisticated instruments offer significant improvement in patient care. However, they represent a significant departure from traditional joint replacement and involve a significant learning curve. We are here to provide a means for surgeons overcome that curve.
EORL was created in part to help answer the need for instruments specifically designed for MIS and navigation techniques.
