The Evergreen Orthopedic Research Lab and MIS-Navigation Learning Center is devoted to the study, development, and education of advanced techniques of arthritis surgery and joint replacement surgery.
The last decade has seen great advances in minimally invasive surgical techniques in hip and knee replacement. Computer navigation, minimally invasive surgical techniques, and more sophisticated instruments offer significant improvement in patient care. However, they represent a significant departure from traditional joint replacement and involve a significant learning curve.
