CADAVER TABLE

The Evergreen Orthopedics Cadaver TableĀ® allows a simple cadaver knee to function as a lower limb. It can be used to create a more realistic teaching and research model and eliminates the need for full lower extremity cadaver parts. Because it recreates an entire limb, a simple cadaver knee can be used for soft-tissue and bone procedures of the knee as well as for computer navigation.

The table combines an innovative expansion collet (patent pending) with the cadaver knee. This rigidly fixes the knee to the mechanical hip and ankle.

Acccording to Debbie Newman (Director, Accreditation and Education, American Association of Tissue Banks).

"Human tissue is considered a precious resource (with limited supply) that must be cared for and used to the fullest extent in order to not waste that resource."
"The use of full cadavers for total knee teaching would not be the best example of honoring the intent of the donation to the fullest extent."

The EORL Cadaver TableĀ® eliminates the need to use a full cadaver torso or lower extremity for use in knee procedures.
