Mark holds degrees in mechanical and manufacturing engineering. His background provides him with extensive experience in design, quality, manufacturing, and management. He understands what works mechanically, why it works, and how it may work in alternative applications. He understands various manufacturing methods and can accelerate the time to the first functional prototype. This design-for-manufacturing approach carries through to a reduced final product price.
Prior to coming to EORL, Mark has refined existing systems, designed systems from scratch and has trained staff in all aspects of quality systems. He successfully brought a company through the ISO 9000 quality system registration process. He has an extensive background in manufacturing, orthopedics, and project engineering. He has successfully managed teams of lab technicians, CAD technicians, and engineers.
Mark is a proven innovator, entrepreneur, and leader. He has overseen a variety of orthopedic projects from idea to application in the areas of arthroscopy, foot and ankle, spine surgery, joint replacement, and minimally invasive procedures.
